Welcome to Bon Homme Yankton Electric

Bon Homme Yankton Electric is a member owned non-profit electric cooperative. At the end of the year, any margins or profits are allocated to the members and stored in a Capital Credit Account until it is deemed fiscally responsible to refund those amounts to the members in the form of a check.

Your cooperative is governed by a board of 7 directors who are elected from districts covering all of the territory that Bon Homme Yankton Electric services. Your membership entitles you to one vote in the election of these directors and any other issues at our Annual Meeting.

Important news and information is sent out via the Bon Homme Yankton Electric Cooperative Connections magazine, as an insert into our monthly billing, and on our Facebook page.
